ok, started my car up last night, ( it has been having some flooding issues) and it starts but it doesn't go over 1k rpms and acts like it doesn't have the power to get the rpms up higher. So when i start the car the rpms go up and fall and go up and fall and then it dies. i dont know whats goin on, does this have to do with the flooding? I need some help guys please!!!!!!!!!!

yes, probably result of the flooding condition. try changing the plugs (new, old-but-still-in-good-shape - it's your choice) or you can burn the ones you have in the engine now and then reinstall them. when it fires, slowly try to increase RPM at a fairly steady rate - just DON'T HOLD the high revs for an extended period. you should hear when it clears its throat. try it and see what happens.

ok, well it worked for about a day

i just cleaned the spark plugs and put them back in and it worked for about a day, and went back to flooding every other time i try to start it up. Also , when i push start it, it idles good for about the first 10 min. it runs then it idles horrible. when im driving and i stop at a stop sign it drops 1k~900 down to about 550 and lower and just stays under 550 and lower and bounces in between that area, and sounds like its about ready to kill itself.
I need some serious help guys, im tryin to sell my ride and this ain't good.
