I need fuel cutoff advice

Ok here is my plan.

I am going to run racing beat exhaust with upgraded fuel injectors and a fuel computer as well as a new external wastegate.

This should eliminate boost creep and allow me to run 12 psi of boost...now I need to know what the best way to eliminate fuel cutoff is (any way to change the fuel cutoff PSI level).

I have looked at the fuel cutoff that fools the ECU, but I don't like that. I have the money for a standalone ECU..but is it worth and, and if so which one should I use?

Arrow Try this

No one seems to be giving you a reply so I thought I would throw in 2 cents worth.
Try this site for a great way to control your MAP sensor so that the computer sees a good boost curve and still keeps the fuel on until whatever boost you set. You don't need a FCD this way....

http://www.dawesdevices.com/

I am getting one myself for my 87 Turbo which has the same setup as yours. I don't think you need an external wastegate for an 89-91 turbo assembly since the internal gate is pretty good up to 15psi!

If you just modify the fuel pump to a Walbro from www.k2rd.com and get a good A/F gauge I think you will be set for full intake and exhaust on an 89 TII. Just make sure you stay above a min of .90 volts on the O2 sensor at WOT and maybe a little more would be even better.

Hope that helps,
Greg
