I have a very dummm question about install the K&N corn airfilter. I found that the original K&N package cannot adapt my 89 fc air intake.... do I need to buy a new set of cool intake to fit in there? or........?

If you don't mind please provide some images.

Thanks a lot.

The 89's are S5's and I thought the K&N's fit directly on. My 87 is an S4 and it needed a plate adapter which can be found in abundance on E-Bay. By the way, I took the K&N off of my S4 N/A and noticed absolutely no difference in performance. If you haven't upgraded your exhaust system yet, adding the K&N probably won't help. If you want an adapter, I'v got one you can have for $10.00 delivered. PM me.

they are able to make air filters out of corn?

89-91
1) 1 cone filter
2) attach filter to front of afm
3) tighten clamp
4) done

How you are not able to figure out something as simple as this is wayy beyond me. Drugs are bad.
