I am having mine installed as we speak
And it is not a walk in the park.
Ray @ kaazusa explains to me that he has to take measurements of the shims at each end of the carrier bearing after installing the gears but since I am also changing my gear ratio to (4.33) and KAAZ. This means you must get new shims to make everything fit perfectly.
It sounds easy but I wouldn't try it myself.

Good Luck

It's not that hard, just a PITA. Usually when you buy a new ring and pinion they give you a little pack of shims. All you do it bolt it up, check the tooth contact and if it's right; you're all set.

Only thing is, it's never right on the first try, you have to repeatedly take it apart, re-shim, and check the pattern again. If you get it by your 5th try, throw yourself a little party for doing it so fast.

I bought my ring & pinion and I didn't get any shims with mine.
I wouldn't know how hard it is because I have never tried it.
But it is an exacting process.
