How do you remove door handles on FD?

Question How do you remove door handles on FD?

Can someone help Me out. I took the inner cover off and removed the 2 bolts. How do you disconect the thich steel rods that join the handle to the latch assembly. I would like to send them to herblenny to carbon fiber.

Hey man,

Very easy. Ally you need to do is rotate the handle such that the rod poput of the plastic clip that holds them. very easy.

If you lift the outer metal plate up a bit, and separate it from the door, you should be able to see in enough to flip the two (I think it's only two, might be three) clips that are on the rods that work the lock mechanism. Once you've gotten them off of the rods, you should be able to slip the L shaped piece out of the clip and be in business.

When all else fails, get yourself a flashlight and take a look in there, it's pretty simple.
