How do I read this balancing sheet

Hi,

I had my 12a assembly balanced before I builty the engine, it was a collection of mis-matched parts. After it was balanced I was given the attached sheet, showing me what they have done. I really can't tell you what I'm looking at other than the "Force in lbs" is now considerably lower. I'd love some insight on how good this all is, does it give an indication of the kinds of RPMs I should be able to run in the engine etc....

Cheers,
Karl

all it’s telling you is how far off it was at the beginning for each rotor side and resulting imbalance forces as rpm increased and then the same after the corrections. The lower the numbers and closer they are to each other the smoother it will be. The end result is pretty standard for race engine balancing. That’s less than 0.5 gram/oz. so assuming everything was all done properly then it should spin about as good as is possible.

it really has nothing to do with rpm capability per se, but with an imbalance the higher the rpm results in an ever increasing resulting force imbalance. So the one side went from near 500 lbs imbalance at 10k down to only 0.43 lbs imbalance force at the same rpm.
