hood alignment problems

Hey Forum Members,

I have a question about the alignment of my hood, that perhaps some of you might have as well. I have a '93FD, and perhaps over the years, with repeated propping of the hood on the right side, the hood seems to be noticeably raised on the right than on the left. From more than 6 feet away, it cannot be seen too easily, but upon closer inspection one can tell.

So my question is, is there a way to adjust the hood so that i can get it back to its original position, or is my hood too warped?

Thanks for reading!

Does no one else have this problem? I would really appreciate some input from those who may know a helpful tip about getting the hood back to where its supposed to be.

You can try loosening the bolts on the hood and reseating it, but it sounds like yours is physically BENT. In which case, cover the hood, and get something uniformally heavy (like a punching bag)and put it on the right of the hood for a while with the left side propped up with a few rubber stoppers or something.
