Question Help?? Is a rebuild as good as a new motor??

Like the title says I was wondering how long a new 93-95 rx7 engine would last as opposed to a rebuilt one, also are there any real differences???

Thanks

Depends on how many new parts are in the rebuild and who rebuilds it. A rebuild with all new housings and seals would probably last as long as a new engine, since you are talking 3rd gen, likely less than 100k in any case.

If built by a reputable builder I'd say a rebuild would last just as long. Price cant be pinpointed tho, as a reputable rebuilder would tell you to replace something if it needed replacing.
