Help Quick! Engine Dies!

Ok guys, I really need this fixed quick and I am runnig out of time. I have a 88 AE Turbo. I just replaced the waterpump, radiator, and added a thermostate (it was missing before), changed the oil and filter. That is all I did to it, and now when I try to crank it for the first time it starts fine for about 1 second than dies... I tried giving it gas but it seems like it doesnt respond to my foot on the peddle. Any suggestions? This was my first time doing this before.. I cant seem to find anything wrong.... Also, when draining a system of radiator fluid how should I go about starting it up without burning the engine up... ( I added coolant and water to the little container in the front... Should I have added it directly to the radiator?)

When you drain the coolant/water form the radiator, add ..new!.. coolant/water (50/50 mix or so) into the radiator, not the little overfill bottle.

Also when car is cold loosen radiator cap and then start it. Could be vapor locked (air stuck in block, cant escape) and it may not be flowing. My .02

Um have you unscrewed the little screw where the hose meets the radiator to remove all air? (dunno what a Koyo radiator on a 10th AE RX7 is but) Believe it or not, mine overheated cause of this problem... Oh, AND take it to a car wash and pressure wash the radiator!!! Itll do wonders for our cooling!!!! no joke, Im in Vegas.

Where do you live? I run no thermostat until winter times... Ive done fine... Try that??? And turn on your heater full blast... Ive always done that... Iunno fc's need to have that done on coolant flush's but I do it anyways.

Please correct me if anything Ive said is wrong and/or retarded.
Im running on fumes here, no sleep for 2 days cause of my damn car problems [O.o]
