Help please

I got a 88 turbo 2 and drove it home 3 hour drive drove it for a couple days then parked it to fix a few things on and there was a mini open air filter on the oil fill tube and a vacuum line next to it tide in a knot so I untied it and put it on it and a week later started it to drive it to work and it started pissing out white smoke like crazy so I turned around and took the hose off it and tide it back up and put the little filter back on now it looked like the hose just goes to the bottom if the fill tube but kinda scared that it was smoking like that do to sitting any help anyone it drives fine now with no smoke

Could be moisture because u said u let it sit for a couple of days. If it stays smoking for lets say 5-10 min. Then u have a coolant seal problem. If it smokes at start up and goes away rite away then it shouldn't be anything major. As long as it drives fine. Give it some redline to get the carbon out the exhaust

any hoses coming from the Oil tube or the center iron are basically VENT tubes, and need to go to atmosphere or a Charcoal canister or Catch can.

Let's put it to ya this way..HOLD YOUR BREATH and then go Jogging... see how long you go..without Popping..or smoking or whatever!
your smoke is slight Blow by because the oil system needs to bleed pressure somehow. That is why it is Vented.
