Help with my 13B on my Toyota Starlet

hello Everyone,

Im new to this site and new to rotary engine. Anyways I just put a 13b Non turbo on my 1983 Toyota Starlet.

I just replace my starter last month (March) and pretty much got the car started and running.

2 weeks ago i drove my car to my inlaws place which is about 10 minutes drive to my place. When i was starting the car that day to go do some errands the car wont turn over. It was cranking but it wont turn over.

The next day I put some gas and the car started. After adjusting all the idle screw and got the car idling good. I turn the car off and started again to see how it will go. Big mistake the car wont even start, its just cranking again and its just draining my battery for starting it everytime.

So what do u think my problem is?

Im taking the car to the mechanic and I just want to make sure that were on the same page or at least I could tell him what are the things to check. I want him to realize that i know a little bit of the problem in this case he spin my head around. Im doing this coz i got really ripped off bad from my past mechanic and now im stressing out just getting this car run.

If you could help me out that would be great.

Thanks

first off takin it to just any mechanic you will get ripped off. make sure he knows rotarys. as you were saying though with a crank no start the first thing to do is check for fuel and spark and go from there
