help me

My name is mark and I am having a real big problem I changed out my clutch. Because mine went bad but now I dont know want wrong. This is what it does I have the car in neutral and push in my clutch and start the car and everything is fine when I slowly let out the clutch and I start to hear an metal on a metal sound coming from the clutch and all so when I let out the clutch in neutral the engine trys to die but I quickly push the clutch back in I dont know what is wrong I need help bad

Sounds like the clutch disk might be in backwards.

Did you replace the throw out bearing?

Yes but I didnt replace my pinio bearing
