Unhappy help and encouragment from texas please...

OK I just posted another thread in the tech sec. But Man my head is spining. I don't know what to do so let me tell y'all a little about it.

I have always wanted a RX-7. I mean I love the way the rotary sounds and the way it runs. So i did a ton of research on them and chose a FC. I don't have a lot of money but when I posted up my little Honda for sell this kid with a 1990 GTU called me asking if I wanted a trade. Well I hooked up with him and checked out the car. I did the poor mans comp test, the bubble test in the rad, I drove it, and had a friend drive it. This car seemed perfect so I traded. I drove it home and it drove perfect. The only think the car needed was a little body work and the blinkers, headlights, and windshield wipers don't work (I asked a lot of ppl and they said it was probably the CPU). But man did I drive good and I don't mind a little body work or fixing the headlights and stuff as long as the motor is in good shape cus that's whats hard to fix. But I get home and drive it around all day with no probs at all. Then my wife comes home from work and I take her out back to look at it. When I fire it up it starts perfect. She likes the way the new top speed exhaust sounds so I give it one good rev to 8k. Thats when it happened, A ton of smoke came out of the pipes. I run to the back to get a smell and its pure oil. Its been smoking now like that since then. So I asked around and I ended up putting some brake fluid in the oil. It helped the smoke alot but now if I let it run it gets hot. So I tested the clutch fan and its no good and maybe that's why its over heating and maybe its not. Bottom line is that this motor is on its way out the door.

So the other day a guy I know really wants my Zex Dry Kit. So I joke and tell him to give me his little blazer thing. He said OK, I asked him if it ran and he said yes but has a lot of probs. I have nothing in the zex kit so I trade him and now I have this blazer thing. I go pop the hood and this is what I find: So I put a bat on it to give it a crank and 1st try it fires over. No smoke or nothing after sitting for 2 months strait. Now nothing in this truck works and its not worth fixing all the prob. But the motor is perfect. So today I post up to see whats in the swap and its turning out that theirs a lot. I mean its so much that I don't know if its really worth it. I could rebuild the 13B for cheaper then swapping in this motor with a T5 or T56 and keeping the FI. Not many ppl have done it and theirs not a lot of info on this swap. But the motor is free and runs really good. On the other hand I got the 7 for the rotary. Wont I be killing it really killing my dream of it if I do this swap. But can I rebuild the rotary by myself. I mean I don't have the money to pay someone else to do it. But is this swap going to be to much for me. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO???? I don't want to get flamed and bashed. I just want help. Whats the best choice. What should I do. I got screwed out of my good running car for this one and now im stuck. I dont want to get rid of it. But I do want a plan I can stick with. I want a 7 that performs well and will get me around reliably and be a good car. Please help. Please encourage me...

I am posting this on two forums, I want to know what everyone thinks. I just want to do whats best and I need some real help.

thats a lotta custom work to swap motors. I'd just keep the rotary. diagnose whats wrong first and go from there.
