i had to replace the battery when i put the new one in i accidently put the turminals on the wrong sides don't know if this cause something to get fried? fuses, ECU? anyways i connected the terminals correctly but the car won't start now, not only that when i turn the key i don't hear the usual ding ding when you turn the key to the 1st or 2nd position, i thought maybe the new battery was bad cuz the idiot lights don't light up either but the lights outside all go on i can flip the lights up and down and i hear the usual beep with the headligts on that you'd hear when u turn the key, but thats it i just finished writing down the diagram for the fuses from this site and i'm going outside to check them now but if it's not any of the fuses what the hell could it be

 

ok turns out the "main fuse" (100A) was blown so i'll be heading to the autoparts store to replace hopefully thats the problem
