Unhappy Help? Car keeps dying

I just picked up a FD and drove it home over 300 miles with no problems whatsoever, but after a couple of friends test drove it, it idels at very low rpm stuttering to stay alive but after I gas it and let go of trottel the rpm falls all the way back down killing the car. I'm a newb so all the help is wanted. Also am I supposed to be using 93 octane? It doesn't specify but I just assumed w/a turbo motor you would.

Yes, 93 octane is necessary, especially with these engines.

If you are a new owner of an FD you will want to read up about the rats nest of vacuum lines. Probably need replacing.
