Question Help!?! Car is driving me nuts

Well I got two problems. #1, the air temperature sensor was showing up bad on my Power FC. So yesterday I took the manifold apart and changed the sensor. I busted a couple of vacuum lines in the process, but I replaced them. Everything is back together now, but the PFC says it isn't reading the new sensor. #2, now when I crank the car up, the idle immediately jumps to 4 or 5k and keeps slowly rising. I fooled with the throttle body for a while, but can't seem to get it to stop. Can anyone tell me where to start looking, because I'm clueless right now.

Well I fixed the crazy idle. I took it for a test drive and now I got another problem. I can't seem to build any boost. It will hit 0 or 1 on the boost gauge and nothing else. Also, when I put the rpm's up pretty high and let off the gas, I hear this weird humming sound coming from the engine bay. It kinda sounded like air trying to escape from somewhere. Could this be a misplaced/loose vacuum hose or something else. I've checked most of the hoses but don't see any problems.

Wow, thanks for the help, lol. Anyway, I fixed the boost problem. Had one line switched around with another. Yeah, I know... Now i'm back to the original problem with the intake sensor not showing up on the PFC.
