Help in buying a rx

hey

im looking to buy a 1994 rx7 single turbo. here is the spec:

The car has done 39,000 miles. The engine was rebuilt and tuned by Dragon Performance 5,000 miles ago. It was mapped to 0.9 bar and should be running around 380 bhp very comfortably. it has huge street ports, The turbo is a new, T4 (Garrett ball bearing turbo) which has covered about 2,000 miles. Has a huge hks intercooler and air filter in very good condition. I had a new triple plate racing clutch and ceramic fly wheel been put on too. The interior has been totally refurbished in red leather and the back seats taken out for weight reduction. There is front and back strut braces fitted, the car really handles well, The exhaust is de-cat straight through although . For security it has a tracker fitted and Clifford alarm with remote start.

i have test driven the car with the guy selling it, and when he booted it, there was black smoke coming out the back, also the clutch makes a griding noise when it pulls away going up hill, this is normal? plus the gear stick shakes lot when pulling away is this normal to?

this is a good car to buy, i have seen bills that added to over £10000

thanks from a newbie

Scotty
