NY Greddy Guages

I bought some guages from a member Greddy Boost and Temp. However I did not get "the box" what ever that is what the guages. The boost guage has no spot for a vacuum line like my autometer guage. Its all electrical connection. Now I was told the guages need some type of control boxes the member said he had no boxes on the car and the guages worked. Can I use a MAP sensor stock FD and taop in to the box and get the boost guage to work . I was told all I need is a signal from a Map or a boost controller sensor the are all the same... Can someone confirm this or else I have to return the guages. The temp guage I was told just connect it to my temp sensor and it will work..

I am hoping to get them working with out additional items as in special sendors from Greddy ...

I had electric Greddy gauges installed in my FD. They came with a Greddy boost (MAP) sensor and a probe for the temp gauge.

did not get those boxes ...

I did not get those boxes with the guages. Can I use my stock map sensor and tap into that for the boost guage and tap into my water sensor for the temp guage or do I have to get the greddy boxes to make the guages read and work correct. I have a greddy boost controller and was thinking I can use the boost controller sensor (electronice) to get signal to the boost guage.
