Hello

I am putting a carb and early 13b distributor on a EFI 13b . The engine is for an airboat and simple is a main need .
I assume the yellow mark on the eccentric pulley is aligned with the pointer on the front cover BUT what is the gear lined up with on the distributor . I see a little drilled spot mark on the gear's collar and am guessing that it is to be aligned with the rectangular indentation on the distributor housing . IS THAT CORRECT ??????????
