gas additives?

Hi, all -

OK, so I'm finally getting used to paying $2/gallon for gas. But I truly resent the fact that it's crummy 91-octane garbage, which is all that's available in this area.

Does anyone know of a gas additive that will increase octane without any massively adverse side affects? I know that much of the stuff you can get at a Kragen's or wherever is pretty much snake oil, but surely, someone makes something of real value...?

Thanks in advance...

any name brand octane booster should work. however there system of rating i believe is weird. so their gain in points isn't overall octane gain.
