Fuel tank electrical penetration Q?

I am in the process of rewiring my fuel pump(s) with thicker wire.
I've hit a snag and looking for some suggestions.

I want to run the bigger wire through the tank cover directly to the pump(s)
and avoid going through the existing electrical bulkhead connector (which uses
wiring only as thick as a human hair)

My question is how to seal the new wiring penetration?

I have some ideas but they are rather ghetto (fuel tank bulkhead fitting with
wires passed through the center sealed with fuel resistant epoxy) and I'm looking for a more professional way to passthrough the wires without spending $100 or do you think my proposal is feasable for a durable semi pressurized seal.

Any help would be appreciated.
TIA
Crispy
