fuel problem

fuel problem

ok im here at my mums house working on my sisters 85 GSL, the fuel pump was bad so we bought a new one, i put it on today and still no fuel, so i got under the car, hooked it up to both fuel lines that were exposed both ways and no gas came out, what is wrong, what do i do?? your help is much appreciated thanks in advance

Is there power going to the pump? You might have to use a jumper wire or hold the AFM open while the key is at the "on" position. You should hear it humm.
