fuel cell sloshing

Hey

I have been warned by a few people running fuel cells about sloshing while drifting. I have a standard rci styled aluminium fuel cell I will be running with my S4 13b. The idea of making a surge tank setup is awesome, its just money is pretty tight right now. I was jsut wondering the general consensus of what most people drifting there rx7's with fuel cells do.

does the cell have foam in it? that is there to prevent or at least limit the slosh you are talking about. even if it doesn't it shouldn't be a huge issue. where is the feed for the fuel pump?

yea its got about 3 " of foam at the bottom, teh feed to teh fuel pump is at the back right at teh bottom.

the reason I made the thread is because I was told by two people that had killed sr's due to fuel sloshing while drifting with a similar cell, apparently they both had a small amount of foam in them too. the one was from teh guy I bought the cell off of.

I think im gonna fill it with more foam. and see how it goes, for now
