FD suspension on a 1st gen?

I went over to the parts trader when the forum speed was bringing me down earlier and I saw this ad. Can anyone tell me how this is ever going to work. seller makes it sound bolt in. I have a first gen as well and I see no way.

Third gen suspension on a first gen!

I've got a complete 3rd gen suspension (nothing damaged) for sale.
If anyone with a first gen is interested in doing a complete 3rd gen suspension upgrade, contact me.
Includes both the suspension and complete brake system.
Best offer!
Best,
John

innnnnnnnnnnnteresting. i mean, there suspensions arent exactly the same thing, FC and FD are much similar, but first gens dont have independent suspension in the back, youd think it would screw up some of the geometry, like make the end really loose

only way its going to work at all is alot of "custom" work especaially for the rear subframe and irs crap... same amount of time and money you can make a first gen handle just as good as a fd
