WV FD set for 4 years, should i start it?

Hi guys,
I just recently bought an FD rx7, 93 to be exact. The lady i bought the car from said that one day it just quit running. It would turn over but wouldnt start. I suspect that it has been flooded. It has set for about 4 years after being flooded.

My question is should i try to unflood/fix? Or should i just pull the motor and rebuild?

I would drain the fuel tank, replace the fuel filter, remove the plugs and put a teaspoon of MMO in the chamber. Rotate by hand and let it stand for a few hours. Reinstall spark plugs, fill with fresh fuel and start.

After it runs for an hour do a compression test. Enjoy new FD with a cup of black coffee.
