(FD)Lots of Fire and 2.5k-3.8K RPMs wall hitting
Alright. My FD has always had a boost issue where it only produces 5 psi on the first turbo and 0 psi on the second. so i installed a full 3" down pipe, mid pipe, and HKS 3" catback. after i installed that exhaust thinking maybe i had clogged exhaust in hopes of regaining boost again, my car was flooded. i had it towed to the dealer for a deflood. after they got it running (first time with new exhaust) during warm-up my downpipe gets RED HOT and my exhaust starts shooting and popping constant blue/red flames until you start driving it.
Now when my car gets up to 2.5K-3.8K RPMs it feels like it gets a fuel cut(hitting the wall) then i hear a loud POP and another flame will shoot out. i cant get my car to drive beyond 2.5-3.8k RPMS the dealer said they dont have anymore test equiptment for the FD.
I was wondering if maybe my injectors are not keeping up with anymore and my fuel cuts out? or maybe i had bad apex seals? it'll rev all the way in nutral. i just cant drive it over 3.8K...
before i take it for further testing i was wondering if maybe someone knows some cheap quick fixes that might work? new fuel filter? injector cleaner? bad ecu?
it seems like once it starts getting anything around 3-5 psi it just wants to shut down... it also has a hard time trying to idle at stops (automatic tranny) i need to pop it in nutral when i come to stops because it feels like dying... when its in park it also has a annoying bump idle.
any help would be appreciated.
