FD Issue at 2500-3000RPM's and 5000 and up

Hey everyone,

I recently ran into an issue with my FD. The vehicle starts and behaves perfectly fine most of the time. I don't have any issues in 1st gear with any RPM's. Once I enter into 2nd when I go above 5k the engine practically cuts out. As I press the throttle the RPM's drop and there is no response from the engine. When I shift up to 3rd and higher gears the same thing happens from 2500-3000 RPM and then falls off at 5k again. My boost gauge reads flat when this happens at 0 PSI no boost no vacuum. As basically everyone always says "I am not experienced with rotaries" so I am not sure of what this could be an indication of. My gut tells me the turbos are going bad since they are still set up for sequential configuration. With no air to compensate for the fuel the motor is flooding till it can get back into boost or vacuum. Anyone with any insight would be greatly appreciated. For background the only engine mod on the vehicle is a catback exhaust everything else is stock. The car was rebuilt approx. 2.5 years ago before being imported into the states and purchased through Japanese Classics in VA.
