fc transmission problem

A day of drivin
My car out of no where lock and would only go in to first and second gear.when tryin to put it in any other gear there's like like a wall that keepsz me from doin it.car stil starts no problem n slave cylinder is still perfect

I took transmission on n still the same effect
I put in a replacement trying which was a perfect working tranmission from another car all gears was check n goin in smooth before I put it in the car

Right when I bolt the tranyy back I jus put bolt on motor n tranny mount nothin else I decide to check up on tranny gears before I do any thing n it did tbe same effect the last tranny did...so I took it out n it was still stuck in only 1st and 2seocnde some how


I'm lost confused and neeed help asap any ideas

it sounds like the clutch master cylinder isnt pushing enough fluid through the slave to release the clutch enough,check your fluid,look for leaks,and get someone to look outside to the slave and see how much its moving,i cant remember if these cars have an adj. slave pushrod,it should have threaded section if it does,you may need to adjust that as well

Why would it be still stuck wit the tranny out of the car how would I be able to stop trannny from doin that......

oh didnt see where you said it did it out of the car,that could be bent or damaged shift forks? your post is a little confusing,if your saying you put another different trans in the car and it did the same thing then i would be thinking that somethings not going together rt,maybe the clutch disc is binding or somethings hanging up?

try replacing both clutch slave and master cylinders.
