Experience with Hurley seals.

What`s the general experience with the hurley race tip seals?Good/bad?
Are they living up to the expectations?
The reason I ask is that my that my T2 engine only lasted 80 miles before it broke one of the Hurley seal, even I never was over 4000 rpm and ran 1% premix in the gas,and I disconected the wastegate so I had no boost pressure.
Any thought?
