Can you balance an eshaft with thesame tools an din thesame way as a normal engine? Thesame question for the complete assembly?

The bob weights are considerably heavier than a piston engine. A good machine shop should be able to balance a rotary if they know how to balance a piston( normal lol) correctly. My complete assembly(everything single part that spins) is being balanced as I type by my the company in my signature.

We have a specific machine that does the balancing. It does take knowledge in the rotary engine, and some precision work. we have done Rotor Dee's engine balancing for his 7 second car.....

Thanks,

But I'll be reusing all parts from the original engine except for the front iron and the housings. The car is a weekend car and power expectation is around 400hp. Do I really need the balancing then?
I'll be putting in new rotor and eshaft bearings as well.

AND - you have to account for the weight of the oil that gets trapped in the rotor when it's spinning.

That's why the bob weights are heavier then the rotor & seals.
