Im having a problem with my RX7 this afternoon it started to bog out and misfire. It makes a crackling screetching noise on the driver side dash. The misfire happens at random times on idle and throttle. Bogging out and surging happens on throttle after 4000RPM. and the Crackling noise comes on only after 3rd gear going +3500rpms. It idles fine at a stable 800rpm.

Car is a 87 Turbo II w/ all emissions removed hollowed cats, ported wastegate, throttle body mod everything is stock with a BOV. I had my injector top O-rings replaced for a fuel leak problem in the morning.

someone pin point me to a right direction to help find out what the hell is happening.

My thoughts are..fouled spark wires and plugs..or coil packs worn.
