Engine/trans removal
I have two engines and transes out of the cars,need to know if there is some kind of trick to poping off the ring on the splined shaft,so as to seperate the engine from the trans,any help would be greatly appreciated.

No real trick, just remove the starter and the bolt that hides under it along with the 5(?) other bolts and one nut (on top at the rear lifting tab) around the bellhousing.
Not sure what ring and splined shaft you are having trouble with?
