My car smokes if I shift over 6 thousand RPM. All of the rest of the time it doesn't smoke or use more oil than it should. Does anyone know whats going on with my car? On another note my engine has also been a little down on power. Could this have anything to do with the smoking?

 

Does it smoke even worse if you let off the accelerator without shifting? If so, the oil control o-rings are going. Try a qt. of Lucas Oil Stabilzer with a fresh oil change. Should help some, but no gaurantee.

 

The car has only smoked when started a few times. But I'll give it a shot I'd like to be able to use all of my r's if I need to
