Engine sitting

I had purchased a 13b RE Cosmo motor and it looks like it will have to set for awhile, while I gather the parts and funds to complete the project.
The question here is what I should put in the rotor housings while it sits. Should I put normal oil in each chamber or us MMO (Marvel Mystery Oil)? I just dont want my seals to lock up on me.

thanx

Just use a little MMO, and crank it by hand a little each month.

I got a tip from a engine builder about 11yrs ago on a seized TII motor w/142k on it. The motor seized from sitting and had not gotten wet but had been exposed to a humid environment. He said dump some Techron fuel injector cleaner down the LIM, pull the plugs and wait a few days. After that I put a breaker bar w/about a 6ft extension on the crank pulley and bolted the front of the engine to my workbench. The motor broke loose.

About 6 yrs later I put it in my TII, it ran for 4yrs until the new owner disconnected the OMP rod... Must have had 180k or better on it.

You do know that a 13B-RE won't drop straight into an FD right? MOVING to General Rotary
