Engine races

Engine races out of control after five grand while driving during shift.

Well you better get control over a car that races without you. This must be a multimillion dollar car to race on its own.

i think he means it revs out of control. maybe broke or weak return spring? or it's just hanging up? check linkages, work throttle by hand to check for smooth operation during opening and closing.
