engine problem

Hi, i'm new to the whole rotary world and i have some questions. I still dont know all the terms, and how the engine totally works, but im learning everyday. Now, I have a problem with my engine and i need some help to figure out whats going on. The part (pointed by a red arrow on the pic) sometimes just stops spinning and makes a strange noise(kinda like it was blocked) and starts spinning again, that is when i realease the gas pedal. Im not really sure whats going so if some of u guys could help me understand this, it would be appreciated. Do I need a rebuild, or just change a part...

thanks

That's the airpump. If its making noise, its time to replace it. You can usually find them in the forsale section here on the forum for about $50:

So that would be the only reason why it stops spinning something, and make that noise. Is it hard to replace?

It's very easy with the right tools. Should take less than 30 minutes to swap out.
