Sounds like your OMP is failing and causing limp mode randomly, starting to become very common on s5's

+1, was common a while ago but now i'd guess the majority of S5's have had at least 1 OMP fail regardless of mileage on them.

well, your options are pretty much this

Buy a new OMP and ECU (easily going to cost over a grand or more)
Buy a new OMP and hope the old one didn't fry the ECU (still close to a grand, more if the ECU is fried)
Buy a used OMP and Used ECU and take your chances on how long they will last(maybe $200ish)
Unhook the OMP, put on a block off plate, start premixing your gas and get your ECU rteked (bout $500)
Unhook the OMP, put on a block off plate, start premixing and go full standalone ECU (probably over $1K)
change intake over to carb and carb the engine (close to $1K)
v8 swap it
Sell the car
smash the car
