I have a 3rd generation RX7 bought new with about 40000 miles in running condition and I am looking to have an engine compression test done in the Baltimore area. I would appreciate advice.

I mistakenly put the incorrect model year for my RX7. What I have is a 1994 RX7 that I might want to sell after the compression test results.

 

2024 rx7 bought new........... in 2026? or is it a 1994 rx7 bought used in 2026? either way, buying a compression tester would be worth more than the effort involved in finding someone/somewhere with the correct tester AND the competence to use it. you can also save yourself the burden of going anywhere. you can do it at home and in the end, you'll have the tool or you can sell it for a little less than what you paid and write it off as a usage fee.
