engine codes 16 + 20
I got some info about engine code 16 EGR,(damn California 7's) and it doesn't seem like a serious threat, however I would like to find out where my EGR is located and what I could do to troubleshoot my problem. 20 I don't know much about and I wonder how bad of a problem it is and how much it will cost to eliminate. so if anyone knows what I can do to resolve these issues it would be a big help.
Thanks,

remove you top intake pipes and the pipe that goes from the turbo to the intercooler.
t is the thing hidden there, there is a short vaccum hose going to the top nipple on the manifold close to it. There should also be a connector since yours is a CA.

3rd gen I assume??
Code 20 is the metering oil pump position sensor, which is really bad news if it doesn't work. This thing controls the oil injection in the motor. Can't live long without that...
