Just installing a rebuilt 12a into an '84.Also installing a header.It seems to me all the emissions control piping on top of the engine can now be removed.Do I remove the plate that sits between the carb and the manifold? What about the 'rack ' of solenoids on top of the engine?Will this affect running quality etc?Anyone have any specific info on this? Thanks for your help!! bt
