Emergency help!

I'm trying to remove my power steering and ac motor. I'm not too sure about what I'm doing. i broke the power steering pully in half trying to get it off. Now as I was trying to unscrew the PS fluid tank and and when I unscrewed it bam! all this gas started coming out from the bottom of the ps fluid tank. I'm guessing that it's freon but I don't know. What should I do? Whats the proper way to remove the ps and ac? please help!

Ok I figured it out. The screw that I untightened was the freon line and yes that was freon that spewd out of the motor. I just let it all leak out since there wasn't much in there anyways. I was finally able to remove the PS motor but now I need to know what to do w/ the lines that were connected to it. I hear that I have to by pass that thoses lines somehow or there will be fluid spewing out from it. What do I do ?

Hey Dave,
Did you remove the PS fluid reservoir yet? If not, then remove it along with the fluid hoses and your problem should be resolved. Good luck.

Yes I did remove the PS resovoir it automatically comes off when you remove the PS pump. However there are still two lines that can't be removed. One for the high pressure and one for the low pressure side of the steering column. If I leave it the way it is there will not be any lubrication for the steering. If anybody has done this before they should know exactly what to do. I just don't want to go by trial and error. I'm alnost done though!
