E fan theremo location and temp guage location ?

Hello, I have a rx3sp with a 13b street port and a 48ida. I run a 79sa radiator and oil cooler, also a Taurus 2 speed e fan. My question is where is the best place for a thermostatic switch for the e fan. I run one under my thermostat now and I run my temp gauge in the coolant port under the oil filter. I have done tons of reading and the only thing I have come up with is 170* thermostat and a 180* switch . Any feedback would be great.

CA !

Well I figured it out and have tested what I came up with . I have a sensor in the top tank of the radiator ( about 3 inches from water inlet) and the switch is set for 168 degrese . I can also cool the motor with no problem with the tautus/volvo fan at the low speed setting . I am using a stock 180 degree thermostat .I hope this can help everyone going with an e fan
