Downpipe gaskets for 93 R1

Where do you guys typically buy your exhaust system gaskets. Ofcourse the local Mazda dealer needed to order them and the front one with the 4 holes is 65.00! I think the 2 of them together was like 80.00 almost half the cost of the dp. Should I worry about changing them or try to use the old ones? Does anyone else make/sell them for a cheaper price?

you don't have to go to the dealer for the dp gasket. just go to any auto parts stores in your area and pick up a big universal gasket. put the dp adapter on the gasket and just draw it out and BAM!!!! there is your new gasket. the cost for it is like $8-10 bucks.

good luck

buy them from www.mazdatrix.com. they'll give you a good price and ship them out quickly and reliably. $65 is way wrong. i don't think that gasket lists for over $25.
