Dormant Secondary Turbo
Hello to everybody, I'm your club's newest member and would like to say hello. I also have a question for whomever can answer...
I just bought a 93 VR R1 for a really good price, but one of the drawbacks to the price is that the secondary turbo is not kicking in. I know this subject was talked about already, however there was only one possible solution given, which was the Y-Pipe seeping air. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Love the car tho...thanks.

Thanks for replying, well, hooking up the boost gauge is my next step, not sure what to look for tho. Hopefully I'll see the gauge at 9.8-9.9-9.8, correct? There are about 70 different vaccume hoses and I'm hoping you or someone can give me an idea as to where I should pinpoint, or which hoses to look for first. The guy who sold me the R1 noodled up the hoses and didn't really take care of the car.

What do you guys think about a shop called Rotary Power in Gardena? I was thinking of taking my R1 there, but I'm a little weary of costs...are they reasonable?
