Discrepancies between cluster and SAFCII

Hey everyone. Just wondering why my tach and volt guage in my fc cluster would be reading lower than what my SAFCII is reading.
At this point I would trust the SAFC over the stock cluster. My oil pressure guage no longer works, and my voltage guage likes to twitch here and there which makes all the other voltage dependent readings jump along with it.

I've resorted to aftermarket oil temp and oil pressure guages.

Any help or info with sorting out the stock cluster is greatly appreciated.

Oh and btw the alt makes good power, but the stock volt guage doesn't see it all. I've tried cleaning the contacts on the back of the cluster but no dice there. Really need to get this power issue sorted before I can even tune my TPS properly it seems.

Also, the fuel guage is highly unreliable. I never use it. Been using the trip meter.

You are correct, the OEM tach has been known to be 500 rpm or more off. S5 water gauge is off/on/overheated. There isn't really a fix other than replacing with new aftermarket for these.

I haven't had a problem with the fuel gauge on any of the RX7s I've owned, but it has been known to happen. Search for fixes on that.

What about the voltage difference? I notice that occasionally the guage does read accurately but only when the engine bay is cool.

I'm thinking a wire needs replacing due to age (heat causong resistance?) but I don't know which one or how to go about finding which one.
