tryin to out the diffrence between the 13BT and the cosmo 13B-RE????

looking to built it around 500-600 RWHP... ive been tryin to find one with blown apex seals cuz im goin to get it ported and rebuilt n/e ways.... the last thing i was reading said that the only diffrence was the size of the intake ports.. but i dont know how true that is..... please help....

money wise i dont have much right now but its goin to be a project car... im lookin to slam it into a vert... and i want every thing done right and built the best with the best parts money can buy....

You will find the info you are looking for. I started out with a used Cosmo 13B-RE engine. Wanted something different. It came in with trashed housings. Now I have a frankenstein motor. Housings are now FD, rotors are FC turbo(lighter). Gotham Racing is finishing up the project for me. Hopefully this coming week actually. I originally had the car in California for the work but the shop that had it (for over 2 years) did more work at getting their cars in magazines than actually working on cars. I picked it up from their Vista Ca location and made it as far as Los Cruces NM. (working on creating a blog about this story)
