Differentail fill plug stripped HELP

I was changing my differential fulid and after i had it drained i noticed that the fill plug is rounded off. i need help how else can i get fulid into it so i can drive it again

that blows. Get some vice grips and pull that sucker out. And don't put it back! Get a new one

ok first you need a hammer and a chisel or metal punch with a flat tip(like a flat head screwdriver blade) First use the punch dead on to make a slot in the plug towards the top of the plug not the center. then hold the chisel at a 45 degree angle at the slot you made. hit it a few times and it should start to turn.

Vice grips all the way, the filler plug shouldn't be too torqued
and always, always, always take out the fill plug first when changing any fluids (of course you know that now )

i used a basen wrench and it came right off
