Question Difference Between Oil & Water Gauges (aftermarket)

Is there any difference between an aftermarket oil and water gauge? I'm wondering mostly is there any difference between the temperature probes?

I know that's a stupid question, but I can't quiet figure out why there are different gauges for both applications (other than to have a different word printed on them).

Thanks.

I assume the thread starter means oil temp. and water temp. gauges, and no there shouldnt be a difference between those two, but I only have a water temp. so Im not 100% sure.

You got it, one says water, the other says oil. Otherwise they are the same.
