Hello I need help? My Dash lights stopped working the other day. i had a look at the switch and the Transistor was burnt out so i replaced it. the dash came back on for about 10 sec till i turned the dimmer up. After that the switch started to smoke again. I have done this twice now and still the same.

Can someone help me this a Right hand drive car i live in aus can you guys help me?

 

maybe you have a short in wiring somewhere

 

Yer i know that i have got an auto sparky coming out on monday to have a look.
