Crankcase Ventilation with Carb

Crankcase ventilation - I searched and found bits and peices but Im still not happy.
I have a weber carb setup and wanted to draw fumes from my crankcase to the intake manifold.
The only source of vacuum on my intake is where the brake booster ties in. I teed off of the brake booster line - not a good idea. Now I have stiff brakes and a shitty idle.
Can anybody please tell me if I should drill and tap a smaller, seperate hole on the other side of the intake and run a vacuum line from there (will I still have stiff brakes and a shitty idle) or should I try something else?

I would drill in to both primary runners of the manifold close to the motor. You could drill and tap two holes for some small fittings and tee them to the PCV valve. Or you could drill a single larger hole and drill two small hole connecting that hole to each runner.
